If you hadn’t noticed in the last week our website has gone through a major “upgrade.” We tried to keep the same overall color to match our WHO logo so if it looks very similar to the old website then we accomplished our goal. The major overhaul really took place in the back end of the website where the entire framework and functions reside.

We decided it was time to upgrade our website framework to be consistent with today’s technology so that we can serve you more efficiently, consistently and with state of the art security and features.

Rick Cano from Cano Consulting, is a local Website Designer, SEO Analysis and Training/Teaching professional who also moonlights every year as one of our homeless shelter volunteers, has been providing Tech support and Website support on a “Pro Bono” basis for the past year and half.

He has been working with our staff for the past 9 months in designing and configuring the new framework which was completed a week ago. He then oversaw the migration and transfer of the new platform onto our current server. Essentially he organized, managed and conducted all that was required to make it a smooth transition.

Thank you again Rick for doing a great job and for continuing to support us with our website and volunteering at our homeless shelter for the past 4 years!
